Born and raised in Korea, Jerome Kim has been based in the Philippines for the last 22 years. He considers the Philippines as his most favorite dive spot in the whole Coral Triangle because of the great macro opportunities as well as big pelagic and school of fishes. He’s been traveling many diving destinations in abroad such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Maldives, Palau, Thailand and Taiwan etc. for different kind of subject hunting.

He is a professional architect who designed Korean Embassy in Manila and constructed 100+ projects nationwide. He is the brand ambassador of Sea&Sea, RGBlue and Scubalamp(SUPE)

He won more than 70+ awards from UW competitions in Korea, Philippines and International. He was a featured Photographer on magazines such as Scubadivers, Scubanet, Underwater World, Sea&Sea Magazine, EZDIVE, e-Mag, Underwater Macro Photographers e-Mag, UWPhotographers, Divers Alert, Ocean Geographic. His works are published on South China Morning Post (H.K), Washington Post, Divers Alert (US), Manila Bulletin, Inquirer, Chosun, Dongah (Korea), and published on more than 30+ Magazines and Newspapers

He has been invited as VIP speaker to several prestige dive shows such as DRT, ADEX, SPOEX and TDEX. He has been judging panels of World Oceans Day Competition by United Nation, Asia UW Photo Challenge by EZDIVE, Drangon Cup by UWPIXEL, Okinawa Masterclass by Okinawa Tourism, Green Island UW Competition by Taiwan Tourism, UWMP competition, Deep Visions and more.

He starts and co-organized Anilao UW Photo Competition with Department of Tourism of the Philippines for 3 years and it became one of the most successful UW competition events in the world now. He also organized Okinawa Master Class and Underwater Dreamtour.

김은종작가는 서울생이며, 지난 22년 동안 필리핀에서 활동했습니다. 그는 산호삼각지대의 전 지역중에서 필리핀을 가장 좋아하는 다이빙 장소로 생각하는데, 그 이유는 대형 물고기와 물고기 무리뿐만 아니라 접사 피사체들도 많기 때문입니다. 그는 다양한 주제의 사진을 촬영하기 위해 인도네시아, 말레이시아, 일본, 몰디브, 팔라우, 태국, 대만 등 해외의 많은 다이빙 지역들을 여행하며 촬영하고 있습니다.

그는 공간건축 지사장으로 필리핀 한국대사관 건물을 설계하였고, 전국적으로 100개 이상의 프로젝트를 설계, 시공한 건축가입니다. 그는 현재 Sea&Sea, RGBlue, Scubalamp(SUPE)의 브랜드 홍보대사입니다.

그는 한국, 필리핀 및 국제수중사진콘테스트에서 70개 이상의 상을 수상했습니다. 그는 Scubadiver, Scubanet, Underwater World, Sea&Sea Magazine, EZDIVE, Underwater Macro Photographers e-Mag, UW Photographers, Divers Alert, Ocean Geographic과 같은 잡지에 사진집이 소개된 수중사진작가입니다. 그의 사진과 기사들은 South China Morning Post(H. K), Washington Post, Divers Alert(미국), Manila Bulletin, Inquirer, Chosun, Dongah(한국) 등의 30개 이상의 잡지 및 신문에 게재되었습니다.

그는 DRT, ADEX, SPOEX 및 TDEX와 같은 여러 유명한 다이브쇼에 VIP 연사로 초대되었습니다. 그는 유엔의 세계해양의날 사진공모전, EZDIVE의 Asia UW Photo Challenge, UWPIXEL의 Drangon Cup, 오키나와 관광청의 오키나와 마스터클래스, 대만 관광청의 녹도 촬영대회, UWMP 대회, Deep Visions, 한국수중사진대회 등의 심사위원으로 활동하고 있습니다.

그는 3년 동안 필리핀 관광청과 함께 아닐라오 수중사진촬영대회를 시작과 공동 주최했으며, 현재 이 대회는 세계에서 가장 성공적인 수중사진촬영대회 중에 하나가 되었습니다. 그는 또한 Okinawa Master Class와 수중 드림투어(Underwater Dreamtour)를 조직하기도 했습니다.
